New Release: Formula Fields and More

We are excited to announce the immediate availability of Caspio 9.4 for all new and existing customers. This release includes several new features, plus many smaller enhancements.

Release Highlights

Formula Fields in Tables
We have introduced a new “Formula” data type that automatically calculates and stores values at the table level. You can create formulas using functions, constants, and values from other fields in the same record.

Fixed Columns in Reports
In a previous release, we introduced a Sticky Header Row in Tabular Reports to ensure the header row always remains visible at the top of the screen as the user scrolls. We added similar functionality for Fixed Columns in this release, where you can specify the number of columns that should remain visible when scrolling horizontally.

Formatting and Localization for Data Downloads
Prior to this release, data downloaded from Report DataPages contained no formatting. Starting in version 9.4, downloaded files can follow the same formatting settings as shown on the DataPage.
